What You Will Do

Provide up to 45 hours of childcare assistance per week

Support child development through play, routine, and consistency

Be an active, caring presence in your host children’s daily life

Participate in meaningful cultural exchange as part of a warm, welcoming household

Program Inclusions

Live-in placement with a carefully screened U.S. family

Private room, full board, and a weekly stipend (minimum $300)

$500 educational allowance to take classes in the U.S.

2 weeks of paid vacation and 1.5 days off per week

Local support from a dedicated Community Counselor

Monthly meetings and social events with other au pairs

Hybrid orientation, including a welcome event near New York City

Child safety and development training through the American Red Cross®

Access to weekly webinars and learning opportunities specific to au pair caregivers

A 12-month J-1 visa, with an option to extend for a second year
